SURPRISE…. I bet you didn’t know this about ulcers……

ULCERS

peptic ulcerSymptoms:
• Discomfort within one hour of eating or during the night; relieved by food, antacids or vomiting.
• Abdominal tenderness
• Ulcer crater visible on x-ray
• Positive test for blood in the stool
• A cough that doesn’t respond to cough remedies

With acid reflux medication consumption at an all time high, people do not realize the risk factors associated with this condition. Many people with a peptic ulcer (stomach) have no symptoms for quite some time. Other people experience a feel of gnawing, aching, burning, cramp-like discomfort or “heart-burn”. An ulcer is caused by tissue damage, which can be in the esophagus, stomach or intestines. The number one cause of an ulcer is a cancer-causing bacteria, called “helicobacter pylori”. An ulcer is not caused by too much acid in the stomach, but rather by too little acid. Proteins stay in the stomach undigested and start to ferment, creating a host environment for bacteria. Antacids just further contribute to this problem. Research shows that people who take antacids are more prone to stomach cancer, osteoporosis and other problems.

Stress is probably the major underlying issue. Stress causes the stomach to become tense and create a “hiatal hernia”, which causes food to get caught at the entrance of the stomach.

SURPRISE!!! Next major cause is CONSTIPATION. I have seen numerous cases where individuals had stomach problems. After going to the doctor they found out their fecal matter was backed up into their stomach. You need to evacuate 18” each day, not once a week. Your bowels should move within one hour of each meal. Three trucks go into a tunnel, three trucks (should) come out.

Fixing the problem: Make sure you do a total body cleanse by taking “Clean Start” along with Food Enzymes or Proactazyme to break down that undigested food. You may need to stay on that for a while. CLT-X/Spleen Activator/Intestinal Soothe and Build and Aloe Vera Juice help to heal the ulcerated sites. Nature’s Sunshine aloe carries the seal of approval from the Australian Aloe Counsel on the label. It has the right active ingredients to do the job! For safety you might consider taking “Gastro Health” and /or Colostrum Plus to eliminate that cancer causing bacteria. If ulceration is in the esophagus, consider drink “slippery elm” tea.

A healthy digestive system is key to a healthy body!
